HOW TO FILL OUT A STANDARD DAFFODIL ENTRY CARD

You must know the name of your cultivar (stem) as well as 1he RHS Division and the Color Code. If you only know your bloom's name, you can still enter since the Show Committee can help you obtain the other two items. Two sources of Division and Color Code are: last year's entry card and the 5X8" card you received if you purchased Daffodils from the Club. (The card has a Roman Numeral for Division-for entry car~ we wilt use regular numerals.) Let's assume you have the necessary three pieces of information: you are showing one stem called Ice Follies, Division 2 (II on the index card), color code W-W (white-white). Look at the Horticulture Schedule to determine the Class and Section. (For most people, Section A is for a Single Stem, B for Three Stems.) You look under Division 2 and find "White perianth, white cup" and Class "14" under the Section A column. That's it; you have all the information for the card. The Section is A, the Class is 14, the RHS Div.is 2. the Variety is Ice Follies, and the Color Code, W-W follows the Variety name. The bottom part of the card simply repeats some of the information from the top pan. As for name and. address; if you use return labels you don't have to write anything out. The filled-out card shows use of the information.

FILLING OUT A MINIATURE ENTRY CARD

Let’s assume your entry is Sundial, Division 7, Color Code y. Y. Look in your Schedule and find "Section F-Miniature Daffodils." Then in the row called "Division 7, reading across, you find "86" in the Single Stem Column. Now you have all the information to fill out the entry card. The Section is F, the Class is 86, the Name is Minnow, the Division is 1, and the Color Code Y·Y. Don't forget to use the small card for miniature daffodil entries!
